SAFETRACK™ RMP 100 Microtrenching Infill System

Microtrenching is an increasingly common way to deploy broadband networks. However, traditional surfacing products won't work to reinstate these narrow trenches since there’s no room for adequate compaction of the infill. The SAFETRACK™ RMP 100 microtrenching infill system was designed specifically for this purpose –to infill roadways after microtrenching is performed. It seals the micro-trench to protect it from water ingress, and bonds to both sides of the trench.

SAFETRACK™ RMP 100 is a cold, liquid applied, self–consolidating , flexible roadway reinstatement system based on Stirling Lloyd's (now part of GCP Applied Technologies) unique ESSELAC™ resin technology.

This unique product reduces the labor costs of placing infill. This liquid-applied reinstatement resin infill self-consolidates, quickly taking the shape of the micro-trench. It cures in as little as 10 minutes to form a bond that’s stronger than the original asphalt's cohesive strength.
The SAFETRACK™ RMP 100 product is applied cold, eliminating the added cost, permitting and worries of working with open flames, which can damage the network cables. It can be easily applied by hand, or by pump for larger jobs.
In addition, the system was designed with added features to safeguard the costly underground cables. For example, its bright yellow markings alert contractors to the presence of fiber optic cables, which helps prevent damage to fibers during future road works.
