Employee Resource Groups

GCP strives to create a corporate culture in which employees have a sense of belonging and connection. We recognize and appreciate the importance of creating an environment in which all of our employees feel seen, heard, included and empowered to do their best work. Our diversity as a global organization is part of what makes us who we are.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are a key part of diversity and inclusion at GCP. These groups serve as a space for employees with shared interests and backgrounds to come together and learn from each other. These employee conversations and work done by the ERGs enhances the way we do business. They are a space for employees who share a common bond to support and encourage each other and for other employees (“allies”) to show their support, express interest and learn more about their coworkers in a supportive environment.

GCP currently has the following active ERGs:

APAC@GCP ERG

The mission of the APAC@GCP ERG is to promote Asian culture within GCP to enrich our work environment and serve as a point of connection for employees from Asian countries and other interested employees. 

Black@GCP ERG

The Black@GCP ERG works to foster a welcoming, inclusive culture supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of Black employees at GCP and promoting representation of GCP through outreach and service to the communities in which we work and live.

LBGT@GCP ERG

The mission of the LBGT@GCP ERG is to foster an environment where LGBT+ identities are understood and respected, advocate for LGBT+ inclusive company policies, provide a support system for the community, and educate GCP employees.

PUBLIC SPEAKING ERG

The Public Speaking ERG provide tools and a forum for development, practice and continuous improvement of public speaking skills.

WOMEN’S ERG

The Women’s ERG provides networking, mentoring and other career resources for women at GCP and works to foster awareness of issues relating to women in the workplace.

VETERANS AND MILITARY ADVOCATES ERG

The mission of the Veterans and Military Advocates ERG is to leverage employees interested in supporting current military soldiers and veterans and further the Company’s reputation for service in the eyes of GCP employees, customers and community.
