Surface Preparation

All substrates, (including the ELIMINATOR® Membrane), must be clean, dry and structurally sound. They must be free from laitance, oils and any other surface contaminants. Refer to ELIMINATOR®  and ELIMINATOR®  TBL application manuals or contact your GCP local representative for further details.

Application

Application of TBL takes place after installation of the ELIMINATOR® membrane is complete.  Application shall be in accordance with Application Guidelines  which are available to Authorized Contractors. Applicator training is available to new and existing applicators.

Eliminator TBL can be installed in various thicknesses and in a manner to promote proper
drainage on a wide variety of structures and irregular substrates, operating under a range of climatic
environments.

Application Equipment

TBL can be easily applied by hand or pump. Please contact your GCP representative for details.

Coverage

The theoretical coverage rate for TBL is 20 sq ft/gal at 80 mils WFT.  At approximately 3.6 US gallons/pail (including catalyst), each pail will yield 72 sq ft. Yields and consumption rates are theoretical and make no provision for waste.

Overcoating

TBL can be installed as soon as the initial cure (1 hour) of the ELIMINATOR® membrane has taken place. There is no critical overcoating window as the TBL material chemically bonds to the ELIMINATOR® membrane. The existing surfaces are required to be clean and dry.

Colors

Asphalt Gray

Cleaning

All tools and equipment should be cleaned with acetone after use and before the material is allowed to be cured.
